Discover the way to accept payments with Webmoney!
If not everyone knows about webmoney, then very many, because this system has been working for a very long time. WebMoney is still in great demand today.
There are 4 currencies in the module (the main currencies for the CIS and of course the dollar).
This module will expand the functionality of your online store, namely, it will enable customers to pay for goods using:
- WMR
- WMU
- WMZ
- WME
How to install Webmoney for Opencart 2.x?
1. Install the webmoney_ocxx.ocmod.zip modifier (depending on your CMS version)
2. Enable the required payment modules in the "Add-ons > Payment" section
3. Go to the Webmoney website and create a merchant
- enter the name of the store
- come up with a Secret Key (any set of letters and numbers in Latin)
- Check the box "Allow the use of URLs passed in the form"
- ResultUrl, failURL and successURL are taken from the Webmoney module settings, and select POST as the transfer method.
- Method of generating the control signature = SHA256
- leave the rest unchanged
4. Edit the Webmoney module: in the settings, enter your wallet number (along with the letter)
5. Enter the Secret Key from the merchant
6. For each wallet on the site there must be a corresponding currency, even if it is not used on the site. In the admin panel, go to System > Localizations > Currencies and create currencies for the necessary wallets: WMZ > dollar (USD code), WMR > ruble (RUB code), WMU > hryvnia (UAH code), WME > euro (EUR code). If you do not want to use these currencies on the site, you can set them to the "Disabled" status, the main thing is that they are available in the system. If the module does not detect the wallet currency in the system, then when placing an order, the client will receive an error: Undefined index: USD, Undefined index: EUR, Undefined index: RUB or Undefined index: UAH - depending on the selected wallet.
If you see the error "err: 1 merchant purse not specified or incorrect step:6", then the purse number in the module is specified incorrectly or without a letter at the beginning.
Important! Acceptance of payments using Webmoney can be carried out by any person who does not have a legal entity, or PE, SP.
There are 2 types of installation: "Installing extensions" if the module file is an archive ending in ocmod.zip or "Via FTP (file manager)" when it is a simple archive with files.
Installing Ocmod
- 1 Download the module file . Paid add-ons can be downloaded in your account only after payment.
- 2 In the admin panel of your site, go to "Extensions" -> "Install extensions" , or "Modules" -> "Install modifiers" and click the "Upload" button;
- 3 Select the downloaded file and click "Continue" , wait for the inscription - "Successfully installed" ;
- 4 Then go to "Add-ons Manager" , or "Modifiers" and click the "Update" button (blue, in the upper right corner). And also issue administrator rights for the module (below it is written how to do this).
Installation via FTP
- 1 Download the module file . Paid add-ons can be downloaded in your account only after payment;
- 2 Upload files through the file manager to the root of the site . As a rule, the archive contains files for different versions of PHP and OC version (you need to choose your option correctly);
- 3 Then go to "Add-ons Manager" , or "Modifiers" and click the "Update" button (blue, in the upper right corner). And also issue administrator rights for the module (below it is written how to do this).
After installing any module, go to the "System" -> "User groups" -> "Administrator" section, uncheck all the checkboxes and put them back by clicking on the "Select all" button in the view and change fields.
